We wouldn't know any of this without your reporting. Thank you.

Memphis gotta rise up as one - black, white, rich, poor - just one big city and say "No!" to Musk. The better neighborhoods are breathing a sigh of relief that the polluted air from Musk's turbines don't dare waft into their backyards. Oh, wait...

Not unlike how designating one table non-smoking in a room full of smokers keeps the smoke away.

Pretty soon there won’t be a “better” neighborhood left. See #Mars

And I just read that a private landowner in Arizona wants to build a HUGE data center on his property.

In a state that still has to haul water to some developments.

The Boring company appears to be pulling a fast one in Nashville, too!

There are two Justins. Justin Jones is in Nashville.

I am confused about that, because Justin Pearson was saying it would affect his constituents, and he wasn't allowed into the announcement event. But he represents Memphis, not Nashville, right? I agree with what he is trying to do.

It would be nice if one of the law firms that bent the knee to Trump would grow a spine and sue for cease and desist and further demands for safe communities. Unfortunately the regime is gutting the EPA so more murder is on the horizon. Wonder what reparation will look like 100 years from now...if anyone's left? Wake up big law firms. This is a worthy fight!

You said it all, it’s an industrial area/zone so what is in an industrial zone, industry. Give your readers a break. Also the company should be applauded for cleaning up the neighborhood. I am sure all the “concerned” citizens do not live on the Memphis industrial waterfront. And besides that a complex housing super computers did a lot cleaner then an iron smelter.

Is someone crowdsourcing funding to fund home school business air quality systems, mask education (when you walk outside), and lawyers to fight to get Musk to make machines produce green clean air?

While I do not condone the behaviour of xAI in operating gas turbines without permission, I am sceptical of the claims made by the persons you have cited. Do you have any verified information about the levels of pollution that can be attributed to the operation of the gas turbine, permitted or otherwise?

I wonder if Elon asked, "Where is the most impoverished neighborhood?" before making this choice. It's nothing new. Thousands of public housing residents live near the most polluted places in the nation — and the government has done little to protect them. Research has consistently shown a correlation between the presence of polluting facilities and lower-income neighborhoods, highlighting a significant environmental justice issue. As if poor people don't suffer in every other way, these shitheads like Musk want to kill them off with air and water pollution, too. I hope Justin Pearson can kick som Musk ass!

This is so wrong and so typical of people with power and money. Destroy Black neighborhoods because they aren't important. Then there's also that stupid tesla tunnel.

Judd, thank you for covering items we wouldn’t know about from any other source! This is disgraceful, and perfectly in keeping with Musk’s duplicity. He is despicable!
