Everything about this is horrifying. One thing that made me just mad was that the State Department is now tasked with promoting Musk enterprises. Are we, as a country, sick enough of this yet? Have we fallen far enough yet? Does it have to get even worse before we finally wake up and make a U turn back to sanity?

A French woman asked me (in DC) why the Americans are not in the streets.

Did you tell her it’s because the police are allowed to murder us for protesting? Did you explain that the US loves to lock people in prison for no reason so those people lose literally everything?

We elected Biden in 2020 to do something about the lawlessness, he and Trump got together and decided to pull a coup on all of us. And here we are.

At the time, I couldn't think of a better explanation than low intelligence.

Yeah that & bread and circuses really work. People who sit in their basement playing PlayStation games can drown out reality pretty easily. That’s why you see a lot of bots on social media screaming “Turn off the news!” of “Fear Mongering!”

If they can get people to ignore the atrocities, then nobody will care to do anything about it.

When Trump got away with advertising Goya beans in the White House and nothing ever happened why wouldn’t they do this? Who would stop them? We had 4 years to do something about this and Merrick Garland stalled on purpose so now we are here.

Aw, they had a fight but now it's all good! Thanks for reporting on the big boys and girls and how they all get along now. The circles of hell are widening for their eventual arrival. They can sit on a stage there and spew their garbage for eternity. No need to check their souls at the door, they abandoned them long ago.

Note that Muskrat wore a suit and tie to meet with Saudis but a sweatshirt and cap to appear in the President of the United States' Oval Office. Who does he respect?

Important info that corp media ignores or downplays. Any fall out among the filthy rich can easily be patched up by the prospect of more filthy riches.

How very scary is this?

Which part is scary? The part where countries and leaders with human rights abuses used to be our inferiors and enemies and now are our besties? Kind of like how the FBI named white supremacists enemy number one to American democracy before 9/11 and now those people are running the country (and the FBI)? And, oh yeah, how certain Arab nations were then enemy number one but now our president grovels before them? Or, how Israel is performing genocide before the world's eyes and the president ignores the country on his Mideast visit?

Yes, fn scary.

Oh wait, you forgot the part about how the budget they’re trying to pass will eliminate any of the AI regulations any of the states are passing.

That wasn’t in this piece, it’s just another circle of hell.
