How these guys talk, huh? Bill Gates, now our hero, has said that Musk'd dismantling of USAID will "cost millions of lives and is a mistake." The fact that millions of people will die in Africa does not seem to be the mistake part. The mistake is, I presume, is in the U.S.'s losing its ability to sway opinion and politics by taking away humanitarian actions. Those things: opinion and politics are necessary to make money off the continent. I guess now we just go in and take what we want.

You know Elon Musk is just a man. His name could be Joe Smith and he could be from anywhere. What makes him special is his inhumanity, arrogance, pomposity and being generally a gross person. Why do we let these individuals become so important and do things that are detrimental to life on Earth? I wish he would go to Mars, honestly, and shut him up.

Thank you PI for this superb summary. We can watch helplessly as world control goes to one man.

Watch your back.

Maybe musk hates government so much because he resents the fact that he can't make it on his own without government largess. Kinda like a loser who resents his parents who have to bail him out after every failure.

He loves corporate Socialism! All of the Billionaires do.

Even rump's farmers have been taught to enjoy Demon Socialism, like the Investment banks and GM found out in '08 when they were bailed out by the Taxpayers.

There’s so much in here that I don’t even know where to begin. I can’t even absorb all of this sub stack! So much wrong and so much and so much grift and so much bullsh*t! This is nepotism at its finest hour. I cannot believe we are here. Yet I can’t believe we are here.

So the section on the "shakeup" at the Copyright Office starts with "Trump's decision last week to remove Register of Copyrights Shira Perlmutter and Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden."

Then some 300 words later we get "the president lacks the constitutional authority."

WHY WASN'T THAT IN THE LEAD?

I am so *damn* tired of discussions on some idiocy or outrage perpetrated by President Trumpsk that start by describing it in terms that suggest it was a legitimate action only to have an "oh by the way" paragraphs later. To see it in mass news media is bad enough, to see it here is just too much.

It should *always* be "Trump's unlawful attempt" or "moved to illegally" or "despite having no authority," or whatever. We shouldn't ever, even by implication, suggest he is acting within the confines of legitimate authority. I know it's a cliché, but it's true: messaging matters.

This isn't being sufficiently repeated. Repost, restock, fill the comments sections of every MSM venue that isnt carrying this story with these reposts, hell paste it on the walls if you have to! Too many are resignedly saying "thanks for talking about this as democracy goes down the toilet," which is EXACTLY HOW DEMOCRACY GOES DOWN THE TOILET!

We need to keep the attention on this, even if it means screaming it in the streets. And it may.

I say fElon Muskovite is a spoiled Nepo-bigoted, racist Afrikaner, through and through.

Sorrowfully, he will never be defeated because he is so entrenched in this quasi--fasci$t/capitali$t Bizarro world the BBC [Billionaire Boys Club] created for us all; mixing 'For Profit' businesses and Government into a poisonous Geo-political cocktail that makes Arsenic and Old Lace seem humane by comparison!

He just locked up the Middle Ea$t, while on Rump'$ Geo-political Grifting Bazaar.

Flying Golden Palaces not included.

Now Resident Rump and fElon are importing White Supremacysts [emphasis on cysts] from South Africa in a feeble attempt to "balance" the global racial spectrum from a mixed diversity into a snow white blizzard of bigotry and hate. He's too late.

*That will never happen.

*The majority race of the world is a bit complex to define, as race is a social construct rather than a biological one. However, if we consider the term "Global Majority," which refers to people of African, Asian, indigenous, Latin American, or mixed heritage backgrounds, it represents approximately 85% of the global population according to Wikipedia.

It's time for fElon to fire up his *'BOER'ing [pun intended] machine and tunnel an Underground RR to Pretoria, Johannesburg and Capetown for him, MAGA, MAGA-A-LAGO, and the whole of the Regressive Republicon Nazi Party currently working full time to dismantle our Democratically based Republic. They will all be much happier there; than even Mars!

*Did the Boer War lead to apartheid?

Thus the scene was set for the creation of apartheid. With it came a decades-long struggle between Afrikaner nationalism and black nationalism. To a large extent black nationalism was led by the African National Congress, established in 1912 in the wake of the Anglo-Boer War.Oct 9, 2024

Fine wordplay, but we need action. Cysts need surgical removal. And it matters not whether our scalpels are sterilized.
