Do you suppose it's dawned on Trump yet that Elon has his tax returns?

Can we say Kompromat! Not just Trump's but everyone in his family's too.

I seriously doubt that first felon has even filed tax returns in many years.

HIPPA (health info) breaches are a huge deal—I’ve seen several hospital employees immediately fired for this. University of Missouri is currently involved in law suits for the compromised data of 190,000 people—looking at having to pay $8 million. That tech bro and pals are breaching multimillions of people.

You've highlighted the true brutality of Trump's regime. When he dies, I hope he's buried face down. :)

He has more than that! Remember both Putin and Musk said "remind him, now he owes us"!

Trump doesn't file returns! Remember, he thinks he too damn good for that

No. He always files returns. We just don't see them.

Keep up the good work. Your reporting needs more amplification. I was just listening to POTUS press conference and the press secretary continued to give the impression that Musk’s access is “read only” in all cases.

(As a retired IT pro of 30 years), "read only" still gives you visual and often download access. If he's got smart programmers, "read only" won't be "read only" for very long.

And "read only" means he's looking at stuff he shouldn't...isn't that enough to ring alarm bells?

Got it. But there are very different and exponentially more serious national security and intelligence risks associated with writing, editing and interfacing unauthorized equipment with government systems.

I agree 100%. I worked in financial institutions, and my "read only" access allowed me to see personal info (addresses, bank accounts, earnings of employees and some clients. I had to get bonded and fingerprinted...and I didn't have any level of security clearance. If I walked away from my desk, all papers had to be locked up and my PC password locked. Security would randomly come by and check...woe be it to (s)he who left a scrap in the wastebasket.

I wonder what level access Snowden had?

Please continue to give us this kind of into (I would not have known that "read only" meant anything...).

The Trump Musk co-presidency is essentially mounting a coup d'état on our democracy. No one seems able to slow it down save the courts.

The courts are way too slow.

Then the courts need to get their butts in gear! Seriously though, courts can only respond to an issue that is brought before them properly; they can’t file motions or lawsuits on their own about something they saw on the news. Even though it’s so frustrating, we have to watch the carnage get worse and hope the right legal eagles file in the right jurisdictions with competent evidence before our country is burned to the ground like Gaza. It could happen.

When are we publicizing Musk's family history? Can we at least talk about his and Trump's severe daddy issues and toxic narcissism? It feels like fair game, they are public figures after all... And truth isn't slander.

Musk might have access to Trump's tax returns, but his people could make them disappear, too.

I'm also reading about the Musk/USAID/Starlink connection, this is all so sickening!!

Aside from contacting our congressional representatives, what can we do?

It's like laws have lost all meaning and consequences

(thank you for all the work spotlighting this evil)

Not sure about the law but shouldn't Musk and friends see jail time? Are there no privacy laws, trespassing, breaking and entering, accessing sensitive information without being vetted and approved to view classified information...is Elon even a citizen of the United States?

Tesla CEO, SpaceX founder and South Africa-born billionaire Elon Musk is officially a “special” federal employee, which allows him to work for the federal government with or without pay for a limited amount of time.

And while there are some exceptions, you generally have to be a U.S. citizen to work for the federal government, according to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.

I know this is beside the main point of what a nightmare this all is, but it must feel good to know that all of the hard work that y'all put in is actually getting picked up & taken seriously by msm. It's being more broadly disseminated & seen by folks who *need* to see it. I'm happy for all the amazing substack indie journos out here doin the lort's work. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Thank you. I am very happy to be an early supporter. You are doing an excellent job of getting the facts out while the MMM continues to take the bait and get distracted by the latest outrage. Dear Leader and his co-president are very dangerous parasites. Curious to see if any Republican congressperson ever steps up to their oath of office.

Ironic that the world’s richest man, who helped Trump get elected with nearly $290 million would reveal his Aspergers Syndrome by cutting off USAID to some of the world’s poorest people. High performing people have zero empathy for others, Musk is a classic case according to one PhD who specializes in that personality type.
